CONGRATULATIONS AOIBHEANN

Congratulations to Aoibheann Clancy (known as Kilbehenny's Soccer Ace") on being, once again, called up to the Republic of Ireland squad as preparations are being made for the World Cup.  Keep up the good work Aoibheann, you are a credit to yourself, your family and the wider Kilbehenny community.

FR.  DICK  KELLY

Hard to imagine that Fr. Dick Kelly is gone to his peaceful rest with a year.  His First Anniversary Mass was held on Sunday 31st May in Kilbehenny.  There were 3 Priests concelebrating the Mass namely, Fr. Tom Egan, Fr. Tom Breen and Fr. John Littleton.  Fr. Egan gave a very nice eulogy about his friendship with Fr. Dick over the years.

ICA

Kilbehenny ICA had a lovely evening in Pine Nurseries last week.  Marianne Caplice, Proprietor of Pine Nurseries demonstrated the art of potting plants and what plants and colours to pot .  A lovely tea and cake was enjoyed by all.  thank you Marianne and Shelley.   Congratulations to the winners of the prizes.  Our next ICA meeting will be Tuesday 9th June when we will have our Federation President Anne and Federation Secretary Mary pay us a visit.  Time out for July and August and back again in September
