SYMPATHY

Sincere sympathy to Aoife and Joseph and the extended Clancy and McGowan families on the recent death of Marie Clancy, Cooleregan, Mitchelstown and formerly of Trim, Co. Meath.  Marie's remains were interred in Mitchelstown cemetery.  May Marie's gentle soul rest in perfect peace in God's Heavenly Kingdom where she is reunited with her beloved T.J.

HOLY COMMUNION

What a beautiful ceremony in Kilbehenny on Saturday 16th May when 11 children (4 girls and 7 boys) made their First Holy Communion.  Each and every one of the children were beautifully dressed on the day.  Congratulations to each.  The girls and boys were indeed an absolute credit to themselves, their parents and their teachers and the school community of Kilbehenny National School.   The weather even played its part as the sun shone when they were leaving the Church, even though the sun was short lived, it, nevertheless, added to the occasion.  Well done to all involved.
