GAA
Congratulations to Galtee Gaels who were victorious in the County Minor A Championship over Cappagh/Rathkeale. Galtee Gaels 2 - 9 to Rathkeale 0 - 12.  The match was played on Tuesday 9th July with a 7.30pm throw-in.  Well done to Galtee Gaels.  Its always a pleasure watching this group of players put in such a committed and skilful display.  Next up, Galtee Gaels face Ahane in what promises to be another exciting fixture.  Keep an eye on social media for updates.

There's plenty of action coming up across all age groups in the club i.e. U14s will take on Mountcollins at home on Wednesday 24th July.  U8s face Blackrock at home on Friday 26th July.  U16s are away to Cappagh/Rathkeale on Sunday 28th July.

Training continues every Tuesday evening at 7pm for all age groups.  All players are encouraged to attend regularly.

A huge Thank You to Lisa Murphy and her team for organising such a successful Cul Camp this year.  A lot of work goes on behind the scenes and is truly appreciated.  A very enjoyable week was had by all participants.

Galtee Gaels Ladies Club notes.  U16s girls were back in action for Round 2 of the championship at home to Feohanagh/Castlemahon on Sunday 14th July.  Unfortunately the end result didn't go Gaels way, the girls showed great heart and battled right to the final whistle.  Keep the heads up girls - there's better days ahead.

U14s welcomed Cappagh to home turf on Wednesday 16th July.  A strong performance by the girls even though it wasn't Gaels day on the scoreboard.  The commitment and good attitude was on display and they are a credit to themselves and their families.

Congratulations to Kate O'Donnell, Ellen Moriarty and Sarah Walsh who recently won the Intermediate County Camogie League Cup with Galbally.  A wonderful achievement - well done girls.  Preparations are well underway for the Intermediate and Junior A Championship campaigns.  The coming months will be busy and exciting for the club.  Best wishes to all players and coaches.
