SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Now that the schools are closed and exams are very nearly over, it is time for pupils, teachers and staff to take a well earned break and enjoy the sunshine.  The stress levels of exams should be out of the way by now.

PAT & KATHLEEN'S GARDEN

Well done to Pat and Kathleen McGrath who opened up their beautiful garden to the public as a fundraiser for near neighbour Claire Downey who has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.  Thank you to the many people who visited and donated and also to everybody who donated cakes etc., for the occasion.   The weather even turned in your favour as the evening turned out lovely.

GALTEE  ESCAPE

If you are looking for somewhere to go at the weekend, then pay a visit to Galtee Escape which is beautifully decorated and the food is a treat.   Lisa and company will look after you.  Why not give it a try, you'll be well pleased and you'll be supporting local.   Galtee Escape is open Thursday through to Sunday.  The Cafe opens each morning at 10.00am.
