SYMPATHY

Sincere sympathy to the Fox family on the recent death of Mary Fox (nee Sides), London and Kilbehenny.  Mary's remains were interred in Kilbehenny cemetery alongside her beloved husband, Ned.  May Mary's gentle soul rest in peace in God's Heavenly Kingdom.

LOUGH   DERG

There will be a one day retreat in Lough Derg on September 15th.  Bus leaving on September 14th.   Names please to Fr. Tynan.

ELLA'S COFFEE MORNING

There was a very big turnout on Sunday morning for the Coffee morning in memory of the wonderful Lady, Ella O'Mahony, Shrove, Kilbehenny who went to her eternal reward some time ago.  This was a fundraiser for Marymount Palliative Care and Mercy Hospital in memory of Ella who was a wonderful, wife, mother and grandmother.  Thank you to everybody who supported this fundraiser whether you came to the hall, baked, bought raffle tickets or just said a silent prayer, all was very much appreciated by Tommy and the O'Mahony family. May Ella rest in perfect peace in her Heavenly home.

HILLWALKING RADIO CLUB

The Hillwalking Radio Club will be running their annual fundraising walks in Galbally on 5th September next.   Donations go towards the First Responders.  Registration is from 10am at the community centre.  Both walks will be leaving at 10.30am.  There's something to suit everyone's pace.  Enjoy the views, the chat and a "cuppa".  More information can be found at www.hillwalkingradioclub.com
