ANGLESBORO/ KILBEHENNY SENIOR CITIZENS PARTY TO BE RELAUNCHED Ramble Inn Mitchelstown on Sunday 7th December at 2pm - Limited Numbers so book quickly
The Anglesboro/Kilbehenny senior citizens party, once one of the most popular events on the annual social calendar in South Limerick, is to be relaunched. The first Sunday in December was once always a great day out for the senior citizens of the parish it was then organised by the ladies of the now defunct Anglesboro/ Kilbehenny Pioneer Association but many of these members have sadly passed away. A new committee has now been formed to revive the Christmas party which will take place in the Ramble Inn Mitchelstown on Sunday 7th December at 2pm with music by Pat Daly. There will be Church gate collections next week to raise funds - all support appreciated.
GAA
Congratulations to Galtee Gaels on securing Leader funding to the tune of €168,571.67 for construction of a multipurpose recreational space. This will be the next step in Galtee Gaels pivotal role in the health and wellbeing of Kilbehenny / Anglesboro community. At the moment the GAA pitch in Kilbehenny is a fantastic amenity for the community. There's a lovely walk round, a GYM and floodlights. It is a joy to go up there and walk and it is very well utilised. It is a wonderful facility for young and old whether you're walking or running.
CHRISTMAS MEAL
Christmas meal in Kilbehenny Community Centre is on Saturday 29th November 8pm. Tickets €35 which includes 4 course meal, glass of wine & 3 strips of raffle tickets for very valuable prizes. Music is by Brian McDermott. Further information tel 0872422660.
