SYMPATHY

Sincere sympathy to all members of the Slattery family and friends, Anglesboro and Mulberry, Mitchelstown on the recent death of Tom Slattery.  May Tom's gentle soul rest in perfect peace in the Lord's house.  Tom's remains were interred in his native Anglesboro.

AGM OF KILBEHENNY COMM. CENTRE

The AGM of Kilbehenny Community Centre was held on Monday 12th January with a big crowd in attendance.  Thank you to everybody who took the time to turn up and have an input into their community centre.  There's no change at the top table.  A lively discussion was held on various topics.  It was lovely to see new faces.  A huge Thank You to Fr. Joe Tynan for coming along and joining the committee.  Fr. Joe is a very busy man with 7 churches in his remit.

BRIDGET LANDERS 105th BIRTHDAY

Wishing the happiest of birthdays to the wonderful Bridget Landers, Carhue, Kilbehenny who will celebrate her 105th birthday this week.   Bridget was born on the 21/01/1921.  Bridget has seen many changes in those 105 years, most notably in the last 50 years with changes in currency, lifestyles etc.,  Bridget reared a big family and worked very, very hard in her lifetime.  

May you enjoy many, many more years of good health with your loving family, Bridget.
