GALTEE GAELS HEALTHY INITIATIVE

On Thursday January 15th Galtee Gaels are running a Healthy Club Initiative in Kilbehenny Community Centre..  A talk will be given by Eddie Kendrick whereby you can learn to understand and cope with your thoughts and feelings.  Understanding how to live a happier, healthier life. Simple practice of mindfulness and meditation in a straightforward way.  You can learn how to keep the head when things go wrong on the pitch.   Please note this is a free event.  If you require any further information, please contact Geraldine on 086 3356964.

MARKING EVENT FOR MACHINERY ETC.

Galbally IFA in association with Galbally Rugby Club are holding a Property Marking Event (trailers, quads, farm machinery, tools etc.) on Saturday 17th January from 11am to 2pm at Galbally Rugby Club E34VX03.  All are welcome.  This is completely free of charge.  All you are required to do is bring along your machinery etc., along with your Driving Licence.

SYMPATHIES

Sympathy to Willie, Siobhan and families of the late John Barrett, Ballinamona who went to his eternal reward last week.  John's remains were interred in Brigown New Cemetery, Mitchelstown  reunited with his Wife Mary.  May John's gentle soul rest in peace in God's Heavenly Kingdom.

Sympathy to the relations, neighbours and friends of the late Michael Barrett, Ballyarthur, Mitchelstown who passed to his eternal reward last week and whose remains were interred in Mitchelstown.  May Michael's gentle soul rest in peace in God's Kingdom.

Sympathy to the Power families, Mulberry, Mitchelstown on the recent death of their Mother, Bridget.  Bridget's remains were interred in Brigown New Cemetery.  May Bridget's gentle soul rest in Heavenly peace in the Lord's house.

DANCING

Please note that Michael Cahill is standing in for Dermot Lyons on Friday night at our monthly dance.  This is the first dance of 2026, so come along and enjoy Michael's lovely music and also give him a Kilbehenny welcome on his first visit.  Dancing 9pm.  Adm. €10.  Teas served.
