GOOD LUCK TO 2 INSTITUTIONS IN MITCHELSTOWN

It is with heavy heart that I write this piece as we wish good luck to two wonderful institutions in Mitchelstown namely, Chamberlains Bakery and The Hunters Rest restaurant and Bar.

Chamberlains have been an institution in the town serving the people of Mitchelstown and the wider hinterland for many, many years with their beautiful breads, tarts, scones etc.,   We were all reared up with "Seanie's long pan, short pan etc."    It was always a stop off in the town to collect the bread.   it was a joy to meet Seanie with his good humour sitting in the corner of the shop.  Also to the two lovely ladies who worked in the shop who were so friendly to pop into.

May Seanie and the Chamberlain family and the ladies who worked in the shop and indeed anyone else involved in the bakery enjoy the next chapter of their lives.  Good Health to all and a massive Thank You for your wonderful service.

Also, the Hunters Rest was another wonderful institution at the top of the town where one could drop in for their cuppa, their dinner or anything else they would like.   It is likewise with heavy hearts we bid farewell to Robert, Eileen, Jack, Tony, Frank and Kathleen and their wonderful staff who have served Mitchelstown and the hinterland so well for many, many years.  You served us well.

May all of the Mullally family and their wonderful staff  who served up the wonderful food enjoy good health, peace and happiness in the next chapter of their lives.   Good Health to all and a massive Thank You for your wonderful service.

The above 2 premises and their staff will be a big loss to everybody.
